04 / Billing rules
What the subscription does and does not do.
The Treasurer or Chairperson can start the subscription payment for the chama.
The subscription is billed to the chama as a whole, not to individual members.
Ordinary contribution money stays outside ChamaClub. The subscription is a separate payment.
There is a 7-day grace period after the paid cycle ends.
Pricing is current now, and the billing configuration in effect at payment time governs the payment.
05 / Billing FAQ
Short answers.
Who can start payment?
The Treasurer or Chairperson can initiate the subscription payment for the chama.
How do you count active members?
Use the active member count for the chama. That count decides whether the tier is up to 15, up to 30, up to 50 or 51 to 9,999. Groups above 9,999 should contact support.
How do the cycle discounts work?
Three months is charged as 3 monthly units, six months as 5, and twelve months as 10. That is why the totals are lower than paying every month one by one.
What happens after the paid cycle ends?
There is a 7-day grace period after the paid cycle ends. After that, entitlement can lock until payment is renewed.
Is this live everywhere right now?
No. Early access is still arranged by email, and the app is not yet listed in an app store.
